How safe are small planes? Safety is our first priority, and everything in the maintenance and operation of our aircraft is designed to maximize the safety, and scrutinized by the FAA with the same objective in mind. As for cars and trucks, safety is not related to size.
How far can you take me? We can take you anywhere in the 48 contiguous states and Canada. Practically, the comfortable non-stop range with required fuel reserves is about 600miles, and the air taxi service is optimal for distances under that limit. It is also ideal when you have business to do at several locations, that can be covered in the same day for example with no planning hassle.
Can I just use a one-way trip? Yes. For the return flight with no passengers, we charge the flight at a much reduced rate. We can come back at a later date and pick-you up for the return flight, and will charge in that case two one-way trips.
Can you take small children? We are following the same FAA rules as the ailines: children under 2 years old can be carried by an adult; above 2 years old they need to be seated in a child approved seat (most child car seats are approved by DOT for air transport too, please just check the label before bringing one to the airport).
Can you take pets? Absolutely, as far as they are properly installed and restrained for the flight.
What does all weather mean? We are equipped and approved for instrument flight conditions, but as in any flying activity, weather is a factor, and flights can be cancelled due to weather conditions. In the event of weather cancellation, we will reschedule at the earliest convenience or you may elect a refund if the trip has not started. You can preview the weather forecast for the next few days here (enter the zip code for your destination) .
Are there some restrictions in what can be brought onboard? No hazardous materials can be carried onboad our aircraft. Federal law forbids the carriage of hazardous materials aboard aircraft in your luggage or on your person.
A violation can result in five years' imprisonment and penalties of $250,000 or more (49 U.S.C. 5124).
Hazardous materials include explosives, compressed gases, flammable liquids and solids, oxidizers, poisons, corrosives and radioactive materials.
Examples: Paints, lighter fluid, fireworks, tear gases, oxygen bottles, and radio-pharmaceuticals.
There are special exceptions for small quantities (up to 70 ounces total) of medicinal and toilet articles carried in your luggage and certain smoking materials carried on your person.
Do you take credit cards? Yes, we accept all major credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Diners Club, American Express.
Payment is required prior to the flight.
